There was no joy for our Sutherland 1st, who lost out to Bankstown 1st.
First up, we made 7/270 from 50 overs. Take a bow, Arnav Raina: a brilliant 113 off 115 balls with ten fours and five sixes. Fifty for Callum Barton, who finished with 68 off 75 balls. Credit to Bradley Simpson, who took four for 54 for Bankstown 1st.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 2/272 in 46.2 overs. Rehaab Afzaal posted 81 for the visitors, a classy fifty. Tyran Liddiard passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 73.
A tough day at the office, but one to learn from.
