Our Sutherland 3rd had plenty to celebrate after they took the honours against Sydney 3rd at Tonkin Park.
Sydney 3rd batted first and put 7/161 on the board from 30 overs. Fifty for Aditya Thakare, who made 50 for our opponents. Dylan Powell weighed in with 30 for the visitors. Kshitiz Basnet bowled superbly to finish with three for 29. Flinders Zhang-Langley also took two for 16.
In reply, the team reached the target at 2/162 in 25 overs. A classy 66 off 65 balls from Matthew Fitzgerald was the highlight.
A brilliant result for the group.
That makes it two wins in a row. Well done, team.
