On the road, our Sutherland 4th were bettered by Fairfield-Liverpool 4th on a tough day.
Fairfield-Liverpool 4th set us 130 to win, finishing on 3/129 from 20 overs. Credit to Alex Lauchlan, who made a half-century (58) for our opponents. Angus Smith led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 25.
Needing 130 to win, we finished on 9/116 from 20 overs. Lachlan Clark's 56 off 65 balls was a half-century to remember. The hosts' best with the ball was Brendon Orr (four for 21).
There were some fine individual efforts to build on. We'll go again.
