Our Sutherland 5th came unstuck as they came up short against Sydney 5th on Saturday.
Batting first, we posted 5/203 from 31 overs. Harrison Danne's 68 off 54 balls was a half-century to remember. Samuel Stewart's 50 not out off 34 balls was a half-century to remember.
In reply, Sydney 5th passed our total, finishing on 5/204 in 30.3 overs. Patrick Kosmas batted well for the visitors, making 48 off 37 balls. Krish Chhatre helped our opponents with 43. Lachlan Pont bowled nicely to finish with two for 19. Danne backed up well, taking two for 31.
There were some quality individual efforts to build on. That's two losses in a row, but the side will keep working hard.
On to the next one.
