It was a good day out for our Sutherland 5th, who were too good for Western Suburbs 5th with a polished team effort.
We batted first and put 229 on the board from 47.4 overs. A classy 63 off 61 balls from Harrison Danne was the highlight. There were also handy runs from Bailey Parker (43). Western Suburbs 5th's Saugat Pandey was the standout with the ball, taking six for 28.
We bowled our opponents out for 148 in 43 overs. Krish Sharma made a good 80 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. Louis F Hogg led the way with the ball, finishing with three for 28. Josh Lindsay also took two for 5.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
