The Sutherland 2 got past Hawkesbury on Sunday.
Our bowlers restricted Hawkesbury to 10/146 from 39 overs. Daman Brar made 47 for the visitors. Aarush Soni weighed in with 37 for our opponents. Lachlan M Ritchie grabbed two for 22. Ryan A Cattle even managed a maiden in the T20 format.
In reply, the boys reached the target at 3/147 in 28.3 overs. Fifty for Kobey Freer, who finished with 56 not out off 59 balls. Jared Ball added a useful 42 off 58 balls.
It was a cracking all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
Onwards and upwards.
