On Sunday at Pratten Park, our Sutherland came off second best against Fairfield-Liverpool on a day to learn from.
We batted first and put 10/110 on the board from 20 overs. Arnav Raina was the pick of our batters with 22 off 23 balls. Fairfield-Liverpool's best with the ball was Jaiveer Singh Dhanoa (four for 22).
Our opponents reached the target at 3/114 in 14.2 overs. Credit to Arjun Nair, who made 39 for the hosts. Jaydyn Simmons contributed 37 for our opponents. Tharindu Kaushal grabbed two for 12. Kaushal even managed a maiden in the T20 format.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
