In Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup & Kingsgrove Sports Poidevin-Gray Shield, our Sutherland came up short against Sydney University on a tough day.
Sydney University batted first and put 6/164 on the board from 20 overs. Arnav Yadav made a classy 58 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. The wickets were shared around, with Kobey Freer taking three for 37. Samuel Jaques weighed in with two for 34 off four overs.
In reply, we finished on 6/138 from 20 overs. Lucas Sheehy's 55 off 37 balls was a half-century to remember. Saul Spyrides made 30 off 31 balls. Hayden McCarthy was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 19.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
