On the road, our Sutherland 1st fell to St George 1st in NSW Premier Cricket (Men's).
Across the match we made 202 and 3/111, with St George 1st on 6/302. A classy 80 off 105 balls from Callum Barton was the highlight. Ethan Deal's 64 off 64 balls was a half-century to remember. Luke J Ritchie added a useful 37 off 60 balls. Credit to Peter Francis, who took four for 41 for our opponents.
Ryan A Cattle starred with the ball, taking three for 96. The hosts' best was a half-century from Luke Bartier, who made 78. Kurtis Patterson made a fine 64 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
That's two losses in a row, but the side will keep working hard. Well played to the hosts.
