It was smiles all round as our Sutherland DCC got the better of Hawkesbury with a fine team effort.
We posted 10/245, while Hawkesbury made 10/224. Fifty for Kai Laws, who finished with 56 off 106 balls. Luke Lawless added a useful 41 off 103 balls.
Shervin Luvkesh bowled superbly to finish with four for 50. Laws bowled superbly for three for 56. Dhairya Modi made a polished 83 for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century.
The work with the ball set up the win.
Congratulations to all involved.
