It was a disappointing outing for our Sutherland 2nd, who were second best against UTS North Sydney 2nd on a frustrating day.
UTS North Sydney 2nd's innings closed at 9/272 from 50 overs. Seb Linnitt posted a brilliant hundred for our opponents, finishing on 126. Flynn Parker finished with six for 66, a six-wicket haul to savour.
In reply, we finished on 231 from 44.4 overs. Fifty for Jared Ball, who finished with 55 off 43 balls. Kobe Ross played a handy knock of 41. The hosts' best with the ball was Liam Whitaker (three for 32).
Plenty to take out of this one.
Credit to our opponents, and well played.
