Our Sutherland 5th had to settle for a loss as they went under to Randwick Petersham 5th in a disappointing result.
Batting first, Randwick Petersham 5th posted 7/255 from 50 overs. Jack Gibbens-Johnson posted 62 for our opponents, a quality fifty. Credit to Callum Linsley, who made a half-century (60) for the hosts. Steve Kourouche returned figures of three for 38 off seven overs. Bailey Parker backed up well, taking two for 46.
In reply, we finished on 223 from 47.5 overs. Louis F Hogg was the pick of our batters with 48 off 62 balls. Parker played a handy knock of 45.
Plenty to take out of this one. Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
