There was no joy for our Sutherland 5th, who were undone by St George 5th at Olds Park # 1 (Turf).
With the bat, we made 9/226; St George 5th made 10/310. Steve Kourouche passed fifty on the way to 57 off 106 balls with eight fours. Matt Bradley played a handy knock of 42.
Harrison Danne picked up two for 27 off 8.4 overs. Bhavya Sharma also took two for 49. The hosts' best was a half-century from george Kazakonis, who made 91.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
Congratulations to our opponents on the win.
