Despite a solid effort, our Sutherland 2nd went down to Western Suburbs 2nd by six wickets.
Our innings closed at 5/143 from 20 overs. Billy Konstas posted a half-century, making 50 off 41 balls with six fours and two sixes. Hayden Lindsay played a handy knock of 48.
In reply, Western Suburbs 2nd passed our total, finishing on 4/147 in 15.4 overs. Flynn Nicholls was 48 not out for the visitors. Joel Almond grabbed two for 26.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. Chins up, everyone.
