Despite a solid effort, our Sutherland 2 lost their match against Mosman by 15 runs at Glenn McGrath Oval.
Mosman batted first and put 176 on the board from 50 overs. William Allen made 35 for our opponents. Kobey Freer grabbed three for 27. There were also wickets for Riley Keen (two for 41). Lachlan M Ritchie's spell included a maiden.
In reply, the boys were all out for 161 in 46.1 overs. Ritchie's 55 off 92 balls was a half-century to remember. Max Robinson weighed in with 35 off 37 balls. Joshua Malone was the main threat for the visitors, taking four for 20. Archie Vaughan took three for 24 for our opponents.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Credit to the visitors, and well played.
